Wittock Supply Kitchen & Bath’s winner of the “Ugly Kitchen Contest” is Jill Washburn of Gaylord, MI. Jill was speechless and could only giggle as we told her live over the air on Eagle Radio that she was the winner. Jill and her husband Harvey were extremely appreciative and very excited about the prospects of having a new heart in their home. Jill’s kitchen was submitted by her son-in-law as a surprise as he thought she not only really needed a new kitchen, but she needed the added joy it would bring in her life. Harvey’s business before he retired was a commercial cook and he commented “I have never had a nice kitchen”. Harvey also mentioned the loss of their young son 2 years ago in an auto accident and how much this gift will bring some joy into their home.
